What make the Bohdran Unique

The Bohdran began to be used in Irish tradition music since the 1960 but it has been around Irish way before the 1960.

The Bohdran plays a leading role in all traditional Irish music without it, it’s hard to accomplish the tunes.

Other country have this type of drum similar to those in north America and the middle east but what make it unique to Ireland is the technique that the Irish use, that found almost nowhere in the world.

The Bohdran have a unique playing style among other drums, it is held under the left arm (for right handed player) with the left hand against the skin it serving to damp the tone and to create variation in the tone. and the rhythm played with the right hand using a stick know as a ciper, beater or a tiper.

There is a new way of play the Bohdran it know as the, Top end style, the player use a thinner and longer stick and a deeper Bodhran and thinner skin. this technique allow the player to slowly follow the tune of the instrument and create a wide variety of tones and rhythm.

This instrument is very accessible for learning, it is often the first choice for children and adults with no previous musical skills.

Although it is essentially a folk instrument, it can be used tastefully within any genre of music. It’s subtle qualities are evident in the accompaniment of songs and small ensembles.

Now, renamed eir, the company is the principal provider of fixed-line and mobile telecommunications services in Ireland with approximately 2 million customers while currently constructing Ireland’s largest fibre broadband network that will reach 1.9 million homes and businesses in the next five years. The company’s new name,The company’s new name, strategy, and identity were conceived by Moving Brands.

The logo looks really abstract and creative compare to their original logo, and not only that but their name is significantly shorter which can be easily remember by a lot of people and this is the purpose and advantage of having shorter name. and i really like how they having a deeper meaning behind the logo likes the twirl of the logo represent the constant movement of their company, reaching the highest point by keep going upward and advance with new technology.

I really like how the logo is created it looks really distinctive and elegant, this is because of the soft gold colour that it used along with a luxurious fonts to make the logo to stand out even more.
I really the usage of texture around the envelope, book, pencil and other mechanise, it looks really professional and luxurious and maybe people can mistaken it for a jewellery store instead of a place to sell shoes clothing, but then again it does give the professional looks and make people to believe in them more if they’re using this style of design rather and quirky or fun design.

The logo looks good but there isn’t much to talk about aside from that it represent the O in O’Neil and that he’s a Bohran player. This logo could be more unique by giving it a vector of his personal Bohran and his signature to signified that he is a personal Bohran teacher.

There isn’t much to talk about his homepage apart from the playlist and a picture which tell nothing of his services and make him more of a distributor instead of a teacher.

He have lots of social network links which is really good, it can show his audience that he’s a professional and his reputation is everywhere, not only that but the website serve as a hub that can send the users to his social pages and vice versa.

He could of use more image to give the users a better insight of what he does, by having a sliders with services on them not only it makes the website look more professional, it is also give the website a better flow of direction.

The color scheme and the structured of the website does reflect his logo and his brand by saying that he is a simple man with a passion for Bohran, hence the amount of white space that he used.

Good used of playlist of his songs on every pages but it is also a down fall to it, it takes up to much space which can be use to spread it contents out clearer.

The navigation is really busy it takes up nearly the full width of the page which can confuse certain users, especially to the one that new to using website,
they can shrink the navigation down to as much as possible by having some pages together and put some of those services on the homepage where the users can see it straight away without having to click on different pages and it’s better to have longer homepage than people clicking and loading pages, because users don’t mind scrolling.

I really like the use of dark colour theme in a brand, it just make everything feels so professional and simple to look at, their logo is really smart too as if it sending out signal to the world about their company and how good they are because usually 3 signal is maximum strength.

I also like their website a lot, it matches well with their brand by carrying out the dark colour scheme with a cyan accent colour to indicate important call to action and headline, but the font style that they have used on the homepage for the services section aren’t that great, i find it a little small and hard to read especially when it’s in bold, and the website could be full width so that it can make a good use of the padding on the left and right to display more contents rather than having an empty space.

There is no logo and the website structure is not well destructed, some page are not active,
Font style and colour seem very old style likes window 2000s.

Contents are really busy on some pages, could use an image divide to separate contents, the spacing between each sentence is too high, homepage does not tell all of his services to give the users a sense of idea on what he does.

In general this is a really bad website and there’s hardly anything good about it except for good photography and social networks.

First i want to to point out how irritating the navigation is on the left side of the screen, not only that it doesn’t serve as a good navigation but it’s also its distracted users from looking at the contents and on top of that it took 1/4 of the website screen which can be use to display the homepage contents clearer.

The logo looks good but it not distinctive enough to make it a mark for the brand.
The homepage looks empty with just two images and a bit of texts which tell nothing of the company or the services that they do.

The red accent colour that they have used on the page for links, social networks and such does not work at all this is because the contrast between that and the white background are to strong, and this can make it unreadable or to look at.

There are hardly any contents on the website even on other pages they could of use Onepage website style to display their contents neatly without people have to load and click on individual page to find his services.

Logo is not show on the navigation like every other websites that are out there.
I dont think the logo is strong enough to represent Alyth as there is nothing that make it stand out, it just a piece of text with a font style.Good used of social links on the sliders and playlist

I don’t think the colour scheme work very well and the textures that she have used makes the whole website seem busy and distract user from the main contents

The homepage structure is not good in term of the services that she’s offering, because all she had on her page are newsfeed and latest news. The main purpose of the homepage is to give the user a sense of all the important services that she does not just news. I think the landing page is really important because it if doesn’t display what the users want they will surely close down the website straight away.

I think the website work really well in term of what they are selling, it short and simple to navigate through with a clear fonts and colour scheme to get the message across.
But the website does not respond well to the mobile resolution and this will surely reduce their SEO ranking on google.

But i really like how they have a playlist page where they display a few sample of their songs to the public so that it can give the viewer a sense of how it sounds like before buying. and this is a really professional way of giving their costumers a test sample without ripping them off if they don’t like what they hear.

I personally think this website is really cool in term of visual design, the navigation is nice and clear but i think in term of information there isn’t as much as the whole website is like one page with side bar to display contents and a shop page that open up in new tap. i don’t think this is a good way to design a website for the users that have no knowledge of computer, it will surely confuse them and throw them off the website if they can’t figure how to navigate through.

And one of it unique features that it let the viewer can play song on the top navigation to give them a sense of how her music sounds like. and this is a really smart way to advertise and themself.
