I really like how unique this website is, the structure and the way it have the navigation align to the left side and the user can have the option of hide or show it. i also like the way they use imagery more than text through out the page. and it’s true that viewer now days are more leaning toward website that have less text and more visual. and this is the style of website i would like to achieve for my client.

The downside of the website is that it doesn’t work very well on the mobile resolution because the navigation is right at the bottom of the website and this will throw the users away and confuse them.

ROUND BUSINESS CARD

I would like to design a unique type of business card for my client, the idea i have in mind is that the shape of the business card is going to be round like the bodhran and the contact informations of my client with be on that card ,and what’s unique about this style? it’s going be inside a holder shape of a Bohdran bag with this design i would like to show to the customers that it’s a professional company that put attention to details.

I would love to use this style of design for my client i feels that it give the identity a more unique look by having a logo that can capture the viewer eyes straight away. and with this style it surely will stand out from it competitors but making it that good is a challenge for me and this is what i would like to explore more on when designing.

And most of these logos are very flexible which can be use on any background without the fear of the logo not standing out.

This is one of the website that my client really admired, she like how simple the website is structure and the colour scheme that it used. not only that but it serve as a guildline for my client to follow but to me this website is lacking elements and it can be improve further.

Some page are really small with just a bit of contents this make users have to click on another page and load that page every time they want to see that piece of information they could of restructure the navigation so that it can seem less hassle for the users to go through.

The teaching page is exactly what i had in mind it’s simple to use and the booking feature is really handy, they could of use this feature for the touring page as well instead of leading users to a external website that could potentially distract the users away from your website and won’t come back.

The logo is not unique or iconic to make his brand standing out from it competitor it just a piece of picture stick on a fonts, if i were to make a logo i rather explore more area of the bodhran and vector the instrument to be a icon of the brand.

MISTFIT SHINE

This is another one of those symbol that i really like it looks simple and clean and give the company a unique identity, it shape is the combination of a bow-tie and a letter M , the logo is flexible and can be use on any background without the fear of people not recognising them this is not just a logo it’s a MARK to the MISFIT.

This is what people should do for their branding, having a unique logo is great but making that logo a mark in every viewer heart is a challenge. and this is why Mistfit stand out from it competitors.

Una Kitchen & Microbrewery

Branding/CI for Una Brewery & Kitchen. The logo is designed as an ambigram. The name Una comes from Latin. It means ‘together’ or ‘in one’. Togetherness is the essence of the concept. Good beer is best enjoyed in good company and at Una you will find craft beer from all over the world under the same roof.

I love how the logo looks, the uniqueness of the logo just make me go “wow” and the reason for this is because the U and the M are actually connected together to create this symbol that represent the company. this symbol is one of the best i have seen so far it is flexible and can be use anywhere and people will still recognise it even with different colours. not only their logo is simple and unique but also their website which reflect the style of their design.

This is what I want to achieve on design a logo for my client and this is what i would like to aim for.

X Y L A R T is a family wood workshop that’s been crafting bespoke woodwork since 1967. Forty-seven years later the next generation of the family decides to upgrade their corporate image and expand beyond crafting classic bespoke furniture to modern living creations. Likewise their identity had to follow the same principle.

This looks way to luxurious to be a wood workshop this is because the colour scheme that they have used along with a black primary colour and a gold accent colour took away the wood feel to the company but they make up to it by using some wood texture to give the brand more depth feeling.
Not only the logo is simple but with a thin typography to make it looks really professional and the spacing between XYLART does really give it a unique look.
