Creating An Anchor On Products

As you can see the result on the website. I wanted to create an anchor on the products that let the user to go to each of the Bodhran with just a simple click.

In order to do this I need to go into individual headline of the product and give them a row ID. in this instance you may see the headline ” Coreline slim model, I opened up the setting and assign the ID on that part.

What I need to do next is to go into the image of the bodhran and set the ID with a # so that when the users click on the product it anchor them down to that section.

Before And After

Before the edit. these are in it original state. it’s a good idea that I took these photo in front of a white background with a white stand for easy edit.

These are the result of the edit. I have removed the background so that the product can look more professional with reflection. I still need to edit the sharpness of the product so that it may bring the product out more.

Bodhran Editing

Using the refiner tools on Photoshop does really make things much easier because you can repair certain part of the image. but it’s only work on some places and not all. so I decide to do it manually by using the clone tool which give me more control and make the image looks much better. because I want these products to be perfect and professional as possible.

Using Refine Edge

Before I can access to the refining tool I need to select around the edges of the product. that may sound easier than done. because I need to zoom into the details and adjust the crooked part and try and get it right.

After that it let me access the refinery tool under the select menu. with this tool it let me mask the object with a new layer where it let me pick part from the original image and repairing it. it sounds great but it doesn’t work that well as you seen on the picture it create the weird burning effect which I do not want. It does help a little and it is useful to make the outline seem more soft than hard.

Editing Technique

By using the polygonal lasso tool in Photoshop. this tool give me more freedom and let me control my line more and go into deeper edge of the photo.

The reflection have been done by duplicate the two layer and transform one of the layer vertical and bring the opacity down to 35% so that it may feel like it’s reflect from a glass table. I also use a white background so that I may see the reflection better and the edges that I’ve erase without erasing the whole reflection.
